Polar Electro has unveiled a new partnership with the German premium audio brand Sennheiser. Sennheiser’s new fitness-focused Momentum Sport earbuds will be powered by Polar, which means it’s offering wearers access to Polar’s suite of biosensing capabilities and enhanced guidance for fitness and wellbeing.

The earbuds will provide more than just sound. They also provide data on the user’s body temperature and heart rate in order to obtain important data for the most efficient training possible.

Sennheisers new earbuds, Momentum, have full access to Polar’s software.

This is the first time ever that a non-Polar product will have full access to Polar’s elite biosensing capabilities and data analytics ecosystem by using Polar’s own training app. Performance tracking, training analytics, smart coaching, and voice guidance are all included, and the in-ear performance biometrics are connected in real-time for instant insights during training and stored for enhanced post-training analysis.

Polar started its Polar for Business offering in 2023, collaborating with Japanese timepiece brand Casio. This time Polar opens up its ecosystem even further, giving full access to users of Sennheiser’s earbuds since there is no need to purchase or own a Polar device. This is also the first time a Polar device is tracking body temperature.
