Pomoca won big at the Ski Mountaineering World Championships, in the Swiss town of Villars-sur-Ollon. Some 40 of the 55 medalists this year wore skins with the Pomoca brand. Headquartered in Denges, Switzerland, Pomoca was founded in 1933 as Dufour & Cie. The Pomoca name was registered in 1957. Since then, the company has worked with top competitive skiers to develop lightweight climbing and racing skins. It is currently developing a new line for the forthcoming 2020 Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne, Switzerland.
