Precor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Peloton, and Stages Cycling, a U.S. manufacturer of commercial indoor bicycles, power meters and cycling computers, announced that they intend to enter into a “strategic global distribution agreement that will expand the availability and reach of Stages Cycling products to new markets and customers.” Under the agreement, which is expected to take effect this summer, Precor plans to become the global distributor for Stages Cycling’s commercial product lines. The agreement will leverage Precor’s sales, service and distribution network in more than 100 countries to bring Stages Cycling to commercial clubs, hospitality venues, educational institutions, multi-family housing, corporate wellness centers and country clubs.

Stages Cycling products include the Stages SC3 and the SC2. In addition, Stages Studio offers cloud-based advanced data analytics, group viewing and motivational indoor cycling experiences.

In February, Precor named Dustin Grosz CEO. He had been serving as interim CEO since Dec. 12, 2022, and had “already had a positive impact on the organization, bringing to bear his strong experience in global supply chain and distribution, manufacturing, and sourcing strategies,” Dion Camp Sanders, Chief Emerging Business Officer at Peloton, commented in an announcement.

In March, Precor announced a new distributor, Mounting Gym, which will offer its “best-in-class cardio, strength and networked fitness equipment” in Italy. Mounting Gym will directly represent the Precor brand and its products throughout Italy, including responsibility for sales, installation, service technicians and warehousing.
