Precor, part of Amer Sports, and Mad Dogg Athletics, the creators of the spinning indoor cycling program and Spinner line of bikes, have announced an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement under which Precor will assume all commercial Spinner bike production for a brand-new range of Spinner indoor cycling equipment. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The new line of Spinner indoor cycling equipment will feature new engineering and design components co-developed by Precor and Spinning. The equipment will also feature new technologies and educational elements, to strengthen the Spinning experience. The companies are set to announce a new line of Spinner bikes in late 2015. They said they will also collaborate on new marketing and education programs in the future. Mad Dogg Athletics has registered its Spin family of trademarks in more than 80 countries.
