Adidas and the Estonian rapper Tommy Cash have designed a sneaker that exceeds one meter in length and promoted it through Cash’s Instagram channel, where it received 140,000 likes within a day. The idea to “make the longest shoes in the world” came from Cash himself and is a marketing ploy. The shoe is a larger-than-life model for a limited run of the Adidas Superstar, which in a pair consists of one black and one white shoe. A few pairs are being raffled off online.
