Dakine has launched the Sender Stretch 3L Series jacket and pants, a technical and durable winter outerwear kit that can be recycled. The Sender, available for men and women, is “thoughtfully built with durability and longevity in mind, withstanding multiple 100-day seasons. Once the jacket and pants reach the end of their lifecycle, they can be broken down and reused for a variety of purposes,” the company said.
In addition to developing the new, high-performance Re-Psychd® fabric - consisting of recycled 4-way stretch polyester, ultra-lightweight 3L fabric, 20k/20k laminate and a PFC-free, durable water-repellent coating - used for the Sender, Dakine is expanding the use of GRS-certified recycled materials in its snow gear bags this winter. The brand is also introducing the first PFC-free and Gore-Tex-certified mittens with the Baron Gore-Tex Series for men and women.
The Sender Series is available now on dakine.com.
