Decathlon UK has launched a Back to Sport Pack that costs under £25 (€29), to allow all kids to participate in sports. The kit, available in-store and online for ages 4–15, comprises shorts, a t-shirt, trainers and a backpack.

Data from the sporting goods retailer has revealed that 63 percent of parents in the U.K. have struggled with funding the cost of school uniform and fitness kit for their children due to the rising cost of living.

Decathlon itself was founded by Michel Leclercq in Lille, France in 1976 with the primary objective of making sporting gear affordable to anyone. Today, the company has 1,600 stores and 93,000 collaborators worldwide in 69 countries.
