dc c has announced the Tacx Neo Bike Plus, its first and “simple-to-use” indoor smart bike that is “ready to ride with realistic road feel, simulated gradients and enhanced virtual shifting.”

The Tacx Neo Bike Plus is fully adjustable and suitable for multiple athletes in a household. Five different crank lengths provide a precise, custom fit, and the slim seat post and handlebar stem can be adjusted to the millimeter, making it easy to match outdoor bike settings. The built-in interactive fans are automatically controlled by the rider’s power or heart rate. In addition, the bike has several features designed to make riding at home even better, such as a function that mimics shifting into different gears like on Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo. You can also “feel” different surfaces – from cobblestones to gravel – as well as a downhill simulation that gives a realistic feeling of riding downhill. With the integrated 4.5-inch display and two USB chargers, riders can use the Tacx Training App and other popular training platforms on their smartphone, tablet or laptop and even track their performance on their Garmin Edge® cycling computer. When paired with the Tacx Training App, athletes can complete structured workouts, participate in pro rides, and ride Tacx films of some of the most beautiful routes.

The new bike trainer will be available in January 2023 and has a suggested retail price of $3,999.99.
