After a 25-year break, the legendary German streetwear brand Homeboy Loud Couture says it wants to invest again in skateboarding, setting up a European skateboarding team, grouping athletes from Germany and other European countries. The team’s management has been entrusted to Lucy Mazur from Stuttgart. Jürgen Wolf, who founded the steetwear brand in 1988 and is still running it, indicates that it wants to take the brand back to its origins in skateboarding. With its baggy pants Homeboy was one of the must-have brands of young people in the 1990s with close connections to the skateboard scene. After a break in the early 2000s, the label returned in 2019 under the direction of its founder and his son Julian Wolf - with a focus on authentic street style.
