PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP) has become Lotto’s exclusive licensee for Indonesia until the end of 2010, with a goal to reach annual sales of $15 million in three years’ time, which would give Lotto a 10 percent share in the country’s branded sporting goods market, and to double that amount in five years. About 65 percent of the revenues should come from footwear and the rest from apparel. MAP will offer international models as well as a special collection specifically tailored for Indonesia. Distribution will go through MAP’s fully-owned retail network of about 200 stores in Indonesia, which includes Planet Sports, The Athlete’s Foot, Sport Station, Soccer Station and SOGO outlets, as well as through other independent retailers.
