Puma announced today the departure of one of its top executives, Stefano Caroti. He will leave at his own request for family reasons with effect from Jan. 1. The company's chief executive, Bjørn Gulden, will take over his responsibilities as chief commercial officer at board level from Jan. 1. After spending 22 years at Nike in important roles, the Italian-born manager joined Puma's reorganized executive board in 2007. He was one of the few top executives of Puma to remain in place after the departure of the former CEO, Franz Koch, at the end of 2012.
