Puma has announced a future cooperation with Right To Play Germany to help implement sports and play activities for disadvantaged children and young people. The program targets both Right To Play's initiatives internationally and stakeholders in Germany, such as refugees. Meanwhile, Puma's staff is being encouraged to get involved in the initiative through the company's community engagement activities. As part of the new cooperation, Puma has donated 9,000 footballs for Right To Play programs in nine countries including Thailand, Ghana and Pakistan. Founded in 2000 by Johann Olav Koss, the four-time Olympic speed skating champion, Right To Play operates globally to improve the situation of unprivileged children and young adults through play and sports. The organization is active in 20 countries worldwide.
