Puma has announced the construction of a new central distribution center for the Nordic region in Sweden, centralizing the current warehouses of Puma, Cobra Puma Golf and Tretorn in the area. Located in Helsingborg, in the industrial estate of Berga, the facility will be an expansion of the local head office, adding 9,600 square meters to the already existing warehouse to create a total surface of 23,000 sqm. The new, partially automated distribution center will work as a pilot project, with a roll-out of the same logistics model in other European markets to follow. With construction currently underway, the building is expected to be ready for testing in the second half of 2014.
