Puma has renewed its sponsoring contract with Usain Bolt, the Jamaican runner who is regarded as the fastest man on earth. Aged 27, he has been training and competing in Puma gear since 2003, when he was only 16 years old. Bolt will continue to participate in new product and marketing communication initiatives. One of his most recent appearances in Puma campaigns was a video where he played football and ran together with Sergio Aguero, another Puma endorser who belongs to the Manchester City team, ahead of its derby match with Manchester United on Sept. 22. Aguero, who is son-in-law of Diego Armando Maradona, helped his team to beat ManUnited 4 to 1.
