Puma has signed a two-year global licensing deal with Sesame Workshop, formerly known as the Children's Television Workshop, an American non-profit educational organization behind the production of several educational children's programs, including its best-known Sesame Street. Under the terms of the agreement, Puma will launch co-branded apparel, footwear and accessories collections for Sesame's main characters such as Elmo and the Cookie Monster. The first Puma Sesame Street co-branded collections will launch in spring/summer 2016. The collections will be available from January 2016 through a large retail network including Puma stores and Puma e-commerce sites, as well as department stores, sports retailers and specialist footwear stores and independents.
