Puma has struck an endorsement deal with Petr Cech, the goalkeeper at the Arsenal football club, who holds the record for the largest number of games with a clean sheet in the Premier League. The company says the former Czech national team's captain, who was previously with Adidas, is the most prominent goalkeeper among its endorsees in the Premier League and he will add to the exposure for EvoPower football gloves and boots. Puma is worn by several other high-profile goalkeepers, such as Gianluigi Buffon from Italy and Rui Patricio, who contributed to the Portuguese team's victory at the European football championships this summer. Cech is to take part in marketing campaigns and other activities related to Puma's partnership with Arsenal.
