Puma has teamed up with Totalsports, one of the leading sporting goods retailers in South Africa, to sell merchandise for the Orange Africa Cup of Nations (ACN) that started in the country on Jan. 19 and will end on Feb. 10. Puma is the official fan supplier of the tournament, meaning that it has exclusive global rights to develop and distribute sport and sports lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories carrying the logos of the Orange Africa Cup of Nations, South Africa 2013. The deal between Puma and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) also enables the company to operate stores, vending stands and kiosks for the sale of such merchandise. Totalsports will run the official fan shops during the ACN and it will be the exclusive distributor of Puma's official fan merchandise for the event. It was originally going to be held in Libya, but the location was changed due to the upheavals that are continuing to shake the country.
