Puma has announced an exclusive collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, bringing fans the Puma x Gremlins Hoops Capsule Collection featuring Gizmo and Gremlins leader Stripe from the classic 1984 Warner Bros. film. The mismatched pair of shoes features Gizmo on one side and Stripe on the other, symbolizing the eternal battle between good and evil. The design features clever details, including two heads on the back of the shoes representing the iconic characters and different colors symbolizing the duality of their natures. The furry tongue, reminiscent of a Mogwai, adds a playful touch to the shoe and captures the essence of the movie. There is a distinctive label on the tongue. The underside of the shoes is decorated with scratch marks, a nod to the mischievous Gremlins that add a touch of intrigue to the design.
In addition to the shoes, the collection will include a Gremlins-inspired hoodie, T-shirts and sweatpants. The Puma x Gremlins Collection will launch worldwide on Dec. 8. It will be available on puma.com, in Puma stores and at selected retailers worldwide.
