Puma is replacing Adidas as official supplier of all the Slovak national football teams through the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifying campaign. The new kit developed by Puma will be unveiled during Slovakia's game against Turkey on Feb. 29. The Wildcat has also extended and expanded its deal with the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), of which it has been the official supplier for the past nine years. Puma will continue to develop the playing and replica kits for the Italian team, but it will also actively manage FIGC's entire licensing portfolio in its new role as exclusive master licensee through its newly established international sports licensing division. The new contract, which runs beyond the next two Fifa World Cups in Brazil and Russia, was announced just as Puma launched Italy's new kit, which reintroduces the former horizontal blue stripe for the first time since 1974.
