Puma’s streak of success in the awards department shows no signs of slowing down. As previously reported by SGI Europe, the German company has already clinched awards this year for being the most sustainable player in the industry. Furthermore, they have been lauded for their commitment to gender-neutral practices and equal pay for all employees.

Adding to their list of achievements, Puma has now been named the “Top Employer globally” in four regions and 24 countries.

This prestigious recognition is based on meticulous assessments conducted by the Top Employers Institute, and this year, Puma was crowned in Asia Pacific, Europe, North America, and Latin America. For the first time, the company also received the employer award in Poland and Ukraine. This marks the second occasion it has been honored with the global accolade and the fifth time securing the prize in Europe.

Dietmar Knoess, Vice President of People and Organization at Puma, expressed pride in the company’s achievements, stating, “We are very proud that our efforts were once again recognized and that we became one of only 17 companies to receive the global Top Employer award. We will take this result as an inspiration to work even harder to make PUMA a fantastic place to work.”

To secure such an esteemed award, companies must excel on various levels. The employee survey covers aspects such as people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity & inclusion, and wellbeing.

Puma’s attractiveness as an employer stems from its commitment to offering multiple opportunities and benefits to its employees, including access to further education, free gym memberships, and various fitness options.

According to the Top Employers Institute, Puma is also commended for helping employees balance work and personal life with flexible work hours, mobile office options, and the opportunity to take sabbaticals at different career stages. Employees with children can make use of special parent-child offices, nursing rooms, daycare facilities, and summer camps during school holidays.
