Puma, whose share price rose by 60 percent in the first nine months of this year, has entered Forbes' Fab 40 list of the world's most valuable sports brands for the first time, ranking sixth in the business category with a brand value of $4 billion. Nike came in first with a value of $36.8 billion, followed by ESPN with $12.1 billion and Adidas with $11.2 billion. Puma came in ahead of Under Armour, rated at $3.5 billion. Besides Puma, Gatorade also entered the 2019 list along with the FC Barcelona team and the New England Patriots, nudging out Manchester United. The first three teams are now, in order, the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees and Real Madrid. The first three athletes are Roger Federer, Tiger Woods and Cristiano Ronaldo.
