Pure Fishing Europe has announced the retirement of Jacques Prallet, its director general for the past six years. He will be replaced by Grant Harris, who will be responsible for Europe alongside his current role as managing director in the U.K. Prallet started his career in the fishing industry in 1989, when he joined Mitchell Sports as export manager. Mitchell was taken over by Johnson Worldwide Associates (JWA) in 1990, and then JWA was acquired by Pure Fishing, in 2000. Prallet has also been an active member of the Board of the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA) since 2005.
