Pyua, a German brand of sportswear made of recycled and recyclable fabrics, has changed ownership. Its founder, Timo Perschke, who created the brand in 2008, has sold the brand name and the assets to Christian Benzing, an entrepreneur from Stuttgart, and his newly created company, Sportsman's Delight. Perschke will remain on the executive board of the new entity. In spite of its short history, Pyua managed to win Ispo Munich's Eco Award three consecutive times and is working on the visibility of the brand's message: On Oct. 20, Pyua will open its first concept store on 78 square meters in the snow sport dorado of Kitzbühel, Austria. Meanwhile, Pyua has decided to no longer work with Grofa, its former distributor in the German-speaking countries. While Sportsman's Delight will take care of Germany itself, it has granted the distribution to the company Wind & Snow for the Swiss market.
