Quiksilver has appointed Nick Adcock as president of DC Shoes. Adcock, who was previously regional sales manager for the Asia Pacific region, is now based at DC Shoes’ headquarters in California and reports directly to Bernard Mariette, president of Quiksilver. Adock replaces Ken Block who is taking on the new position of chief brand officer. Separately, the global creative director of the Quiksilver brand, Natas Kaupas, adds the role of vice president of marketing of Quiksilver Americas. Kaupas, an artist who was one of the first professional street skaters in the 1980s, recently won the Transworld Skate Legend award.
