Quiksilver has signed an exclusive global licensing deal with Inter Parfums for two lines of products – a range of sun protection and other ski care items to be marketed under the Quiksilver brands, and a collection of fragrances, sun lotions and other cosmetics under the Roxy brand. The deal runs until December 2017. The first release will be a line of Roxy fragrances, due out before the end of 2007. Separarely, Quik reports extremely positive sales results from a new format of Roxy store inaugurated last March 10 in the Part-Dieu shopping center of Lyon, France. Claiming that Roxy has become the second-largest surf brand in Europe, Quiksilver says it plans to set up about 20 Roxy stores in European in the next two years.

Figleaves.com, a British e-commerce site for intimate apparel, is going to host Speedo’s first virtual store on the net this month. Internet users from more than 170 countries will be able to order a selection of more than 200 items from Speedo, including items that have not been available in the UK until now and the collections designed by Comme des Garçons and Rosa Cha.
