Quiksilver has taken over the distribution of DC Shoes in Denmark, where it already markets the Quiksilver and Roxy brands directly, but it has decided to close down its Italian sales subsidiary. In the next six months, the distribution of Quiksilver and Roxy will be transferred to California Sports, a company with 28 years of experience in the action sports sector that has been distributing DC for more than ten years. Quiksilver's Italian country manager, Cristiano Bozzetti, is considering some new challenges. California Sports will no longer distribute Protest in Italy after the sale of the Dutch action sportswear company's spring/summer 2016 collection. Option Distributor, a company run by Fabrizio Messineo, will take over the role.
