Rapala has expanded its executive board from five to seven members and created the new position of deputy chief executive officer, which will be filled by Jussi Ristimäki. In addition to his current role as chief financial officer, Ristimäki will have the overall responsibility of group's supply chain and working capital management and distribution in the Nordic countries, South Africa and Eastern Europe, excluding Russia. New on the executive board are Aku Valta and Cyrille Viellard. Valta will be in charge of group's sales, marketing, branding and web strategies for lures outside Europe and North America. Viellard will supervise the distribution of the group's products in Central Europe (Germany, Italy, Benelux) and the U.K., and the co-ordination of the group's partnership with Shimano in Europe. Reporting to Ristimäki, he will also handle global supply chain management. In latter role Viellard will report to Jussi Ristimäki.
