Reebok has partnered with The Echo Nest, a music intelligence platform, to release a new Spotify app. The Reebok FitList app, aimed at providing fitness exercisers with a soundtrack for their workout sessions, is free to use within Spotify. Users select an activity, an intensity level, the duration of the workout, and an artist, drawing from the more than 17 million songs in Spotify's music catalog. They can also choose from a playlist curated by Reebok, celebrity athletes and other users, and they can also submit their favorite list for others to enjoy. Reebok FitList can be found via the Spotify App Finder wherever Spotify is available. Over 350 million applications have been built on The Echo Nest platform, which provides music applications for media companies and independent developers, with a customer base of around 150 million music fans every month.
