Reed Exhibitions and Messe Salzburg hailed the first edition of the new Austrian bike fair, Best of Bike, as a success, as 83.1 percent of the attendees who were interviewed declared themselves very satisfied. The survey conducted at the show also indicated that 73.9 percent were very happy with the current situation in the bicycle sector and that 57.5 percent expect it to continue to improve over the next 12 months. A total of 2,467 trade visitors attended the fair and one-fourth of them came from neighboring Bavaria and other areas outside Austria including the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Italy. The fair hosted 91 exhibitors with 257 brands on 12,000 square meters.
