Reiner Thalacker is no longer the chief executive of Wintersteiger. He left at the end of September for personal reasons, company officials say, after three years with the Austrian company, a global leader in ski maintainance equipment and other businesses. Thalacker was also responsible for sales, marketing and customer service. These areas will be taken over by Harold Kostka, who joined the executive board in June 2014, with responsibility for finance.
