Reinhard Schaffler has been appointed new managing director of Gigasport, the Austrian sporting goods retail chain operating under the helm of Kastner & Öhler. The 44-year-old replaces Alois Loidl, who left the company after 20 years of service to K&Ö at the end of August. Most recently, Schaffler was member of the executive board of Mammut in Austria. He had previously worked for Salewa and W.L. Gore.
