Remember Benetton Sportsystem? That was a long time ago, yet the Benetton Group is now launching its first collection of active sportswear under the United Colors of Benetton brand name, featuring merino wool yarn and other natural technical materials. The line will be available for sale at Benetton stores throughout Italy during the Italian edition of The Color Run, which will take place in ten Italian cities, starting on April 30 in Turin and ending on Sept. 3 in Milan. It will be sponsored by United Colors of Benetton. As in other countries, the participants in the 5-km race spray themselves with all kinds of colors before they start running. The fun race attracted more than 125,000 participants in Italy last year.
