US fashion and activewear brand Alo Yoga has opened its second flagship store in London on Regent Street. The activewear yoga brand continues to expand globally, as SGI reported earlier. Two more stores will open in the UK later this year, which the brand says is just the beginning. One year ago, it was announced that 50 more stores were to open. Alo currently has 70 or more stores worldwide and reported $1 billion in sales in 2022.

The new store marks Alo Yoga’s second location in London, building on the success of its debut store on King’s Road last November. It comes as the brand announces further expansion in the UK, with two new stores set to open in the capital this year – one at 75 Brompton Road in Knightsbridge in August and one in Covent Garden in late 2024.

The new 950-sqm Regent Street flagship will showcase the brand’s full range of women’s, men’s and unisex apparel, accessories and footwear, including loungewear and coordinated sets. Co-founder and co-Chief Executive Danny Harris said: “This store is more than just a retail space – it’s a chance to connect more deeply with our community.”

Alo Yoga was established in Los Angeles in 2007 by co-CEOs and childhood friends Harris and Marco DeGeorge to “spread the transformative power of mindfulness, movement, and wellness globally.” The brand has cultivated a dedicated community of celebrities and influential figures worldwide, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner and Taylor Swift.
