Amazon has opened a walk-in center at its Cape Town head office to support independent sellers through registration, training and logistics support. The move is meant to help local businesses attract more customers as well as to help strengthen Amazon’s presence and market share in South Africa.

The center offers local businesses services such as training, on-the-spot registration to sell on Amazon.co.za, cataloging assistance, and shipping and logistics support, among others.

Amazon launched Amazon.co.za in South Africa in May 2024, the first Sub-Saharan African country for the e-commerce giant.
