George, the fashion label of British supermarket chain Asda, has introduced its new activewear brand Gym Locker to 50 stores as well as on the George webstore. The launch follows a successful online trial last autumn.
Gym Locker, which caters to both men and women, features pieces that start at £7 (€8.3) for sportswear tops up to £30 (€35.6) for quarter-zip running jackets. Additional releases are planned for later this year.
The launch coincides with Primark rolling out its biggest ever performance collection earlier this month, a significant expansion that almost doubles the size of its previous performance range.
