Customers can unlock benefits and rewards by either shopping or working out using the retailer’s app.
Gymshark has launched its first-ever loyalty scheme. Customers of the British apparel retailer will earn “experience points” (XP) every time they shop or complete a workout program through the Gymshark Training app. Specifically, customers will earn 10XP for every £1 spent on the Gymshark website, the Gymshark app or in-store.
Through this loyalty scheme, users can unlock exclusive rewards which may include product launches, partnership discounts, early access to events or vouchers towards their next purchase. There are four tiers. Everyone starts at tier one, but as they progress, the benefits and rewards become more exclusive.
Joining the loyalty program is not automatic. Customers can enrol by either logging into an existing account or creating a new account. In any case, they must click on “Join the Club” on the opt-in page to enroll. Customers do not need to make a purchase to join the loyalty scheme.
