The Stockholm store has been having financial difficulties.

Tommy Hilfiger is closing one of its two flagship stores in Sweden, the one in central Stockholm. According to property manager Fastighetsvärlden, the closure is due to unprofitability.

The store, located in a building where Peak Performance also has one of its flagship stores, opened in the fall of 2010. The premises cover 473 square meters and have two entrances, one to Biblioteksgatan, one of the city´s major shopping streets.

The property previously housed the first NK department store.

Hilfiger still has its Gothenburg store open and two outlets. Worldwide, Tommy Hilfiger has around 2,000 stores in 100 countries.
