Intersport Sweden is expanding with a new store in Lund, a medium-size city in the southernmost part of the country, near Malmö and Copenhagen.
Intersport Sweden is opening a new store in Lund, a medium-sized city in the southernmost part of the country, near Malmö and Copenhagen. The store, Intersport’s first in the city, will be established at the Nova shopping center and will be an addition to the city’s range of sports and leisure products. Staff recruitment is underway.
Issa Kul, previously store manager at Intersport Mobilia in Malmö, has been appointed store manager for the store in Lund. “It feels fantastic to be involved in establishing Intersport in Lund. Taking the step from Mobilia to this venture is an exciting challenge. I’m looking forward to building a strong team and offering the people of Lund a really good sports store,” she says.
Sales Manager Jesper Nordin is also positive about the expansion in Skåne. “We are very happy to open a new store in Lund and to be able to recruit internally for this venture. Having an experienced leader like Issa in place gives us a strong foundation to build on. Skåne is an important region for us and we look forward to continuing to grow here,” says Jesper.
A lot is happening with Intersport Sweden at the moment. The company has become a shareholder in one of the country’s biggest bicycle chains.
