New Balance has opened its new St James Quarter store, located in the heart of Edinburgh.

The brand’s new store concept is called UCC. At the heart of the concept is the brand’s mission to prioritize the customer, putting people at the center of the experience instead of the product, a press release said.

The brand store has been designed with central seating areas and is home to its new retail concept, which offers a space that “encourages customers to gather, find inspiration and explore their style. The store integrates a carefully curated assortment and visual storytelling, highlighting the origins and makers behind select products,” as the brand said.

“As we continue to expand our portfolio in Europe, we are excited to introduce the UCC concept in Scotland to connect with our consumers,” said New Balance General Retail Director Marco Alves. “It’s great to bring our Edinburgh customers into this new space,” Alves concluded.

Recently, the brand opened up its second store in Mumbai.
