According to several media reports, Nike’s products will once again be sold on Amazon’s platform following a five-year hiatus.
Several media reports indicate that Nike is returning to Amazon after five years of absence at the world’s largest retail company on the internet based on revenue and market value.
Nike stopped selling on Amazon in 2019 to better control the shopping experience and have more direct contact with its customers.
A spokesperson for Nike told CNBC that the company will now invest more in its marketplace.
“This includes expanding into new digital accounts, including Amazon in the US, new physical partners such as Printemps, elevating retail experiences across the market, and launching Nike’s AI-powered conversational search to improve our online services,” the spokesperson said.
