On Running has opened its second flagship store in New York and the location can’t be more iconic. Located on 5th Avenue, On Running is now part of the classic neoclassical Flatiron building. With the opening of a flagship store in Chicago, On Running has doubled its American stores to eight in less than a year.

With 4,596 square feet of immersive retail space in the high-traffic Flatiron neighborhood, On’s newest New York City store is also its largest. It joins On’s other New York locations in SoHo and Williamsburg, further strengthening the brand’s presence in this cultural capital. The team carefully preserved original architectural elements – such as columns and moldings – while seamlessly integrating modern, Swiss-inspired features into a landmarked 1930s building. Expansive windows provide prime visibility and dynamic storytelling opportunities, while nature-inspired details inside reflect the urban environment familiar to local runners, blending On’s aesthetic with the character of the neighborhood.
On Flagship Store on Chicago Rush Street
Located in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant Rush Street neighborhood, the new 4,553-square-foot flagship store opened in time for the Chicago Marathon, offering runners and visitors from around the world a space to explore On’s full range of performance apparel, footwear and accessories. The store design pays homage to Chicago’s rich industrial and design history with an open gray ceiling, colorful walls and wood accents inspired by the city’s iconic bridges.
