With a recent opening in Bogotà, Skechers has surpassed 5,000 Skechers-branded retail store locations throughout more than 120 countries. In 1992, the company opened its first-ever Skechers store in Manhattan Beach, near its corporate offices. Its first international store was then inaugurated in Japan. Every location features the same look, with consistency across six continents.
Skechers plans to open an additional 140 to 160 company-owned stores this year. With hundreds of stores opening annually with its partners, the Southern California-based company said it is “on the road to 10,000 Skechers stores.”
