Reusch has signed up two more goalkeepers, Javi Varas of Real Club Celta de Vigo and Robert Green from QPR, after extending its sponsoring contracts with the goalkeepers of three Italian football teams: Andrea Consigli of Atlanta, Antonio Mirante of Parma, and Michael Agazzi of Cagliari. The German brand of sports gloves, whose sales are coordinated by Eric Weitzmann in Italy, has also agreed a longterm sponsorship extension with Salvatore Sirigu, who plays with the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) team and is a goalkeeper in the Italian national squad. Reusch is also adding headwear and gloves for Nordic skiing and snowboarding to its contract with the Slovenian Ski Team. It is extending its long-standing sponsoring deal with the Swiss ski pool, equipping all alpine ski racers and jumpers with its winter gloves. Starting this winter season, all alpine teams of the Swiss ski team will also be wearing Reusch beanies. Reusch is also a sponsor of the ski associations in the U.S., Austria, Lichtenstein and France.
