Reusch has taken greater control over the distribution in France, ensuring quicker deliveries and a wider choice of products as it did recently in Austria. The brand, whose head office moved to Bolzano in Italy a few months ago, previously had a French distributor for its ski gloves, Sidas, and another one for its goalkeeper gloves, BDE. Sidas is stopping the collaboration from July 2010, but its agents will continue to work for Reusch under the direction of Damien Poly, who became international sales manager of the brand in July 2007, based in Bolzano. BDE, which is also the French licensee of Hummel, will become the French agent for Reusch’s goalkeeper gloves. All the products will be shipped to French retailers from the Milan-based logistic platform of Erich Weitzmann, a major shareholder of Reusch that already takes care of the German brand in Italy and Austria.
