Revenues for the golf division of Fortune Brands grew by 7 percent to $297.8 million in the 3rd quarter, ended Sept. 30, led by gains for the Titleist and Cobra brands. The division’s operating income was up by 6 percent to $30.3 million. Fortune Brands’ total sales increased by 23 percent to $2,218.5 million, while net income jumped by 88 percent to $151.3 million.
