Right after closing its acquisition of K-Swiss, E-Land has dispatched Truman Kim from South Korea to California to act as chairman of the American company and appointed Larry Remington as its president and chief executive, replacing Steven and David Nichols and overseeing a new management team. Remington is an industry veteran who worked for Foot Locker and Skechers before serving as president of Palladium, the fast-growing casual footwear brand of K-Swiss. He dealt with E-Land some 18 months ago when he appointed it as Palladium's distributor for South Korea and China. As part of K-Swiss' new team, Wim Tuijl becomes managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Barney Waters is promoted chief marketing officer. Ed Flora stays on as chief operating officer.
