Ritchie International is switching over to a dealer-direct distribution model for its bicycles and frames in Europe, according to Bike Europe. For this purpose, it has set up a new logistic operation at Multisped, a logistics provider in Singen, Germany. The new sales structure will reinforce its partnership with three major distributors in Germany, the Netherlands and the U.K., who will continue to offer Ritchey components and accessories to the retailers. Another specialized magazine, Bicycle Retailer, reports that Colnago is offering bikes and frames from its previous model year on its website in the U.S., but local dealers will assemble and deliver them.
