Rob Langstaff, who spent the last two years supervising sales in Asia-Pacific and Latin America at Brooks Running, has been appointed vice president of international at Keen, the U.S. manufacturer of outdoor footwear. He is taking over from Morten Israelsen, who moved to England for personal reasons. Langstaff is a seasoned executive who earned his stripes in the sporting goods industry as managing director for Adidas Japan and then Adidas America, and he has been running a consultancy specializing in strategic development for sports and footwear brands in Asian markets. At the same time, the Portland-based company announced that Christy Saito was joining as vice president in charge of global product merchandising. This is a new position, which is meant to drive growth in the outdoor lifestyle category. After seven years at Nike, Saito was global vice president of merchandising and product management at Crocs.
