Roddy Van Breda has been appointed managing director of Adidas South Africa, with effect from Aug. 1. He replaces Winand Krawinki who was recently named managing director of the Central Europe West region, as reported. Van Breda has been with the Adidas Group since 2003 and was most recently sales director of Adidas South Africa, responsible for the wholesale business. His successor in this position will be named at a later date. Van Breda will report directly to Osman Ayaz, managing director of emerging markets.
