Rolf Hagström, a Swedish official who has worked for Nike for 12 years, has bought a Swedish distributor, Tennis Fashion, that represents Prince and Tretorn in the country. The former owner, Björn Sefastsson, is going to retire after a transition period. As previously reported (SGI Europe No. 20-13 of March 23), Tennis Fashion has become Nike’s agent for sales of its tennis products to specialist tennis retailers – 50 such stores have been named “approved Nike dealers” – following a business model that the brand has been implementing in other countries and in other product categories.
